We are using an awesome JavaScript library called js-dos.
That library allows you to run DOS programs in browser. js-dos provides nice and easy to use javascript api over dosbox.
The library's API is great and simple to work with. the API is based on Emscripten and em-dosbox projects
If you enjoy playing DOS games online then you should consider buying the original game to support its authors.
